| General description: | Immunoglobulin is a glycoprotein, with two heavy chain and two light chain connected by disulfide bond. IgG is a major class of immunoglobulin. It has five subclasses of IgG- IgG1, IgG3, IgG2a and IgG2b. Affinity isolated antibody is obtained from rabbit anti-pig IgG antiserum by immunospecific purification which removes essentially all rabbit serum proteins, including immunoglobulins, which do not specifically bind to pig IgG. Anti-Pig IgG is then conjugated to peroxidase by protein cross linking with 0.2% glutaraldehyde. |
