Biochem/physiol Actions: | Apotryptophanase hydrolizes tryptophan and is capable of catalyzing α,β-elimination reactions with a number of substituted amino acids, including S-methyl-, S-ethyl- and S-benzyl- L-cysteine. DTNB inactivates tryptophanase . |
