Application: Anti-ETS1 antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 1 μg/ml. For immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded tissue sections, a concentration of 4-8 μg/ml is suitable.
Biochem/physiol Actions: The DNA-binding activity of ETS1 requires the phosphorylation at Thr38 by ERK1/2. ETS1 is expressed in a variety of cell types including hematopoietis cells, endothelial cells, epithelial cancer cells and vascular smooth muscle cells. ETS1 promotes cell invasion and angiogenesis as it regulates the transcription of VEGF and MMP genes.
