Biochem/physiol Actions: POU2F3 is a transcription factor that is involved in the growth and differentiation of keratinocytes. Studies have reported that Pou2f3 (Skn-1a) is involved in the differentiation of chemosensory cells. Furthermore, this transcription factor is also required for specifying the lineage of taste receptor cells.
