Application: | Anti-NFIL3 polyclonal antibody is used to tag nuclear factor, interleukin 3 regulated for detection and quantitation by Western blotting and in plasma by immunohistochemical (IHC) techniques. It is used as a probe to determine the roles of nuclear factor, interleukin 3 regulated in haematopoietic lineages development and specialized immune function regulation. |
Biochem/physiol Actions: | NFIL3 is a basic leucine zipper (bZIP) transcription factor that represses or activates transcription in non-osteoblastic cells. NFIL3 play a role in attenuation of PTH target gene transcription in osteoblasts. NFIL3 repression domain interacts specifically with the TBP binding repressor protein Dr1.Glucocorticoid-mediat |

General description: | Nuclear factor, interleukin 3 regulated (NFIL3, E4BP4) is a transcription factor involved in development of haematopoietic lineages. NFIL3/E4BP4 is required for development of NK cells and CD8α(+) conventional dendritic cells, and myeloid lineage commitment. NFIL3/E4BP4 also facilitates macrophage activation, polarisation of CD4(+) T cell responses and B cell class switching to IgE. |
