| Biochem/physiol Actions: | PIP3-E (Phosphoinositide-binding protein PIP3-E) also referred to as Interactor protein for cytohesin exchange factors 1 (IPCEF1) is a protein that binds to cytohesin 2 and augments its activity in cultured cells. This results in the nerve injury-induced membrane receptor trafficking in the dorsal root ganglions (DRGs) of adult rats under neuropathic pain conditions. Further, IPCEF1 produces a single protein that plays a crucial role in HGF-induced Arf6 activation and migration in response to HGF treatment. |
