It plays a pivotal role vesicle trafficking events that are associated with myogenesis like- myoblast fusion and/or GLUT4 trafficking. VAMP5 protein is localized in skeletal muscle, heart, spleen, lung, liver, and kidney tissue and facilitates the membrane trafficking in skeletal and cardiac muscle. |
