IL22 cellular effects are mediated by a heterodimeric receptor made up of IL22 and IL-10Rβ. IL22 signaling mediates proliferation of epithelial cells during inflammation mainly by the activation of signal transducer and activator of transcription 1 (STAT1) and STAT3 signaling. |
