Immunohistochemistry Formalin fixed, paraffin-embedded Human tonsil tissue sections were stained with 1:100 Anti-Human IgG (whole molecule) antibody produced in Rabbit (Cat. No. I8635) followed by 1:3,000 Monoclonal Anti-Rabbit Immunoglobulins-Biotin antibody produced in Mouse, Clone: RG-16 (Cat. No. B3275) and 20 μg/mL ExtrAvidin®-Peroxidase (Cat. No. E2886).
Western Blotting Whole extract of HeLa cells were separated on SDS-PAGE and probed with 1 μg/mL Anti-Actin, N-terminal antibody produced in Rabbit (Cat. No. A2103). The antibody was developed using Monoclonal Anti-Rabbit Immunoglobulins-Biotin antibody produced in Mouse, Clone: RG-16 (Cat. No. B3275) and 2 μg/mL ExtrAvidin®-Peroxidase (Cat. No. E2886). Lanes 1. 1:200,000 antibody 2. 1:400,000 antibody 3. Negative Control
ELISA Monoclonal Anti-Rabbit Immunoglobulins-Biotin antibody produced in Mouse, Clone: RG-16 (Cat. No. B3275), followed by 1:1,000 Anti-Mouse IgG (Fab specific)-Peroxidase antibody produced in Goat (Cat. No. A9917) was probed to detect Rabbit Immunoglobulins by indirect ELISA. Reactivity is observed with Rabbit IgG, Rabbit IgA and Rabbit IgM but not with Human IgG, Human IgA and Human IgM.

Application: Applications in which this antibody has been used successfully, and the associated peer-reviewed papers, are given below.
Immunohistochemistry (1 paper)
Application: The mouse monoclonal anti-Rabbit IgG (heavy chain-specific) peroxidase conjugated antibody can be used as a secondary antibody for western blot analysis of protein preps from E. coli cultures at a concentration of 1:10000 diluted in PBSt for 1 hour at room temperature.
Biochem/physiol Actions: Binds only rabbit Igs. Does not react with reduced rabbit Igs.
Biochem/physiol Actions: IgG antibody subtype is the most abundant of serum immunoglobulins of the immune system. It is secreted by B cells and is found in blood and extracellular fluids and provides protection from infections caused by bacteria, fungi and viruses. Maternal IgG is transferred to fetus through the placenta that is vital for immune defense of the neonate against infections. IgA antibody is secretory antibody and is present abundantly in mucous linings of gastrointestinal, respiratory and genitourinary tracts, tears and saliva. IgM antibodies are present as pentamers in the serum and are produced in response to antigens.
