The units feature a drain (including an low-density polyethylene plug) located below the level of the bottom of the box to virtually eliminate disturbance of the gel when liquid is being drained. The durable box and cover are resistant to temperatures across -70°C to +70°C and are acid- and alkali-resistant. In addition, they are resistant to many solvents.
