Immunofluorescence HeLa cells were fixed and permeabilized with cold methanol followed by cold methanol:acetone. Fixed cells were stained with 1:200 Monoclonal Anti-Cyclin A Clone: CY-A1 (Cat. No. C4710). The antibody was developed using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG, Cy3 conjugate.
Immunoblotting
Cell line lysates were separated on SDS-PAGE and probed with 1:1,000 Monoclonal Anti-Cyclin A Clone: CY-A1 (Cat. No. C4710). The antibody was developed using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG-Peroxidase (Cat. No. A2304) and a chemiluminescent substrate.

General description: Cyclin A is a nuclear protein during S phase and it binds both cdk2 and cdc2. The availability of monoclonal antibody reacting specifically with cyclin A enables the subcellular detection and localization of cyclin A and the measurement of relative differences in cyclin A levels as a function of cell cycle phase.
Immunogen: recombinant bovine cyclin A.
