Macrophages are visualized in an atherosclerotic lesion in an Apoe-/- mouse carotid artery. Paraffin-embedded tissue sections were stained using Anti-Mac-2-biotin with streptavidin-488 (macrophages, green), Monoclonal Anti-α-Smooth Muscle Actin-Cy3, clone no. 1A4 (Cat. No. C6198) (smooth muscle cells, red) and DAPI (nuclei, blue).
