| General description: | Citalopram is a bicyclic phthalene derivative. It initiates serotonergic activity, which produces antidepressant action. Citalopram hydrobromide reverses memory impairment. It is used to treat obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, sociophobia and premenstrual dysphoric disorder. |
