| General description: | • Corning® closed system centrifuge tube is ideal for aseptic filling and transfer of samples to reduce the risk of contamination risk in liquid handling processes. • The system is pre-assembled with the aseptic transfer cap to the centrifuge tube. • The transfer caps have two ports: a venting port and a liquid transfer port. The venting port ends in a 0.2 μm filter, and the liquid transfer port, which is chemically resistant, heat sealable flexible tubing, ends in a male Luer. • HDPE dip tubes facilitate easy aseptic transfer during your liquid handling processes. • Tubes are sterile and nonpyrogenic. |
