| General description: | This allows cell culture on the membranes of all 96 well HTS Transwell plate types within a relatively large amount of medium. The tray provides optimum culture conditions across the whole plate and good buffering against pH changes and nutrient depletion. Trays contain a removable stabilizer which reduces medium sloshing during manipulation. Reservoir trays are used during the active cell growth and feeding phase prior to transferring the HTS Transwell system to a receiver plate which segregates the individual inserts for the final assay step. This reservoir tray is tissue culture treated and sterile for applications requiring co-cultures with the same or different cell types. |
