Biochem/physiol Actions:	2′-Deoxyuridine 5′-monophosphate disodium salt (dUMP) conversion to pyrimidine is inhibited by methotrexate. The inhibition of dUMP to deoxythymidine monophosphate (dTMP) at the methylation step is a key in controlling bacterial and eukaryotic cell growth.
