| Application: | Dulbecco′s phosphate buffered saline has been used : • To study how ultrasound could enhance the delivery of anti inflammatory drug through cornea in corneal infections. • In the detection of microtubules in sludge worms. • For recovering bone marrow cells from the femur of green fluorescent protein (GFP) expressing mice. • To study the inhibitory effect of 3-methyladenine on autophagy, in normal rat kidney (NRK) cell expressing GFP-LC3 (autophagy marker). |
| General description: | Dulbecco′s phosphate buffered saline is a balanced salt solution, and a fully supplemented isotonic solution. It contains antibiotics and glucose and inorganic ions as energy sources. It is frequently used with primary cells where risk of contamination may be high. |
