| Application: | 2′-Deoxyadenosine 5′-triphosphate sodium salt solution has been used in the detection of apoptotic cells by the terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL) technique. It has also been used to induce oligomerization of apoptotic protease activating factor-1 (Apaf-1) to form a large heptameric complex referred to as the apoptosome or Apaf-1 procaspase-9 apoptosome complex and to study its functions as a proteolytic-based molecular timer. |
