Application: Dihydroxyacetone phosphate (DHAP) is used in fructose metabolism, triose and glycation research. It is used in studies involving the metabolism of three-carbon sugar pools and their roles in physiological and physical processes. DHAP may be used as a substrate to help identify, differentiate and characterize fructose-bisphosphate aldolase(s) (ALDOA) and triosephosphate isomerase(s). DHAP may be used to study cellular glycation stress.
Biochem/physiol Actions: A metabolic intermediate involved in many pathways, including glycolysis and the Calvin cycle.
Biochem/physiol Actions: Dihydroxyacetone phosphate (DHAP) is a metabolic intermediate involved in many pathways, including glycolysis, gluconeogenesis, glycerol metabolism, phosphatidic acid synthesis, fat metabolism, and the Calvin cycle.
Disclaimer: Unlike the dimethyl ketal, does not require hydrolysis prior to use as a substrate.

New Tariffs & Effects on Pricing

Tariff note: As we navigate the current environment of tariff surcharges and mid-year manufacturer price increases, we want to keep you informed. While we have avoided making specific decisions thus far, we anticipate that we will be forced to implement a cost adjustment policy to offset the fees we have already been absorbing. We are committed to transparency and moderation in this process.
