| Biochem/physiol Actions: | ACSF3 (acyl-CoA synthetase family member 3, mitochondrial) interacts with thioester and coenzyme-A, thereby activating fatty acids for the formation of acyl-coenzyme A. Acyl-coenzyme A is associated with the metabolism of fatty acids and lipids as well as ATP binding. ACSF3 is linked with non-classical CMAMMA (Combined Malonic and Methylmalonic Aciduria). |
| General description: | MISSION esiRNA are endoribonuclease prepared siRNA. They are a heterogeneous mixture of siRNA that all target the same mRNA sequence. These multiple silencing triggers lead to highly-specific and effective gene silencing.
