| General description: | RC packing reservoirs, which are available for all three C column types, are quick and easy to assemble. Curved walls minimize the separation of gel beads by size during packing to produce homogeneous columns. Once the gel is in the column, the RC reservoir can be connected to a pump or Mariotte flask to give optimal flow rates for gel packing. |

The eluent inlet pieces incorporate a “reverse funnel” design that distributes eluent evenly over the cross-sectional area of the gel bed surface. This allows accurate control or separation temperature without a cold room. JC jackets increase mechanical resistance of C columns, enabling operating pressures of upto 1bar. |
