Application: Dextrin Sepharose™ High Performance and provide convenient affinity purification of recombinant Proteins tagged with maltose binding Protein (MBP). This robust and stable Sepharose™ High Performance based medium enables elution of target Protein in narrow peaks, which minimizes the need for further concentration steps.
Features and Benefits: • Dextrin Sepharose™ High Performance is a robust, high resolution medium based on the 34 μm Sepharose™ High Performance matrix
• The small, evenly sized beads ensure that MBP-tagged Proteins elute in narrow peaks, thus minimizing the need for further concentration steps
• Physiological conditions and mild elution preserve target Protein activity
• Dextrin Sepharose™ High Performance tolerates all commonly used aqueous buffers and is easily regenerated using 0.5 M NaOH allowing the same column to be used for repeated purifications
General description: Binding capacity is protein dependent. Dynamic binding capacity was tested with MBP-?Sal (MBP2*-paramyosin-?Sal, Mr approx. 70 000, multimer in solution), and MBP-ßGal (MBP2*-beta-galactosidase, Mr approx. 158 000, multimer in solution).
