| Biochem/physiol Actions: | Quiescin Q6 sulfhydryl oxidase 2 (QSOX2) catalyzes the oxidation of sulfhydryl groups of thiols in peptides and proteins to disulfides, with the reduction of molecular oxygen to hydrogen peroxide. It plays a major role in sensitization of neuroblastoma cells to interferon gamma (IFN-γ)-induced apoptosis. |
