| Biochem/physiol Actions: | DNAJC14 (DnaJ heat shock protein family (Hsp40) member C14) chaperone protein interacts with dopamine D1 receptor and regulates receptor trafficking between endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and plasma membrane. It also modulates the life cycles of various Flaviviridae family members and Flavivirus replication. DNAJC14 helps in SNARE (Soluble N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive factor activating protein receptor) complex-mediated transport by interacting with the lysosomal trafficking regulator protein. DNAJC14 plays an important role in regulating yellow fever virus (YFV) replication complex assembly. The DNAJC family protein are also involved in various biological processes such as translation, exocytosis and endocytosis. |
