Western Blotting JOURNAL CITATION: Correlations between TBL1XR1 and recurrence of colorectal cancer. By: Liu, H., Xu, Y., et al. in Sci Rep, 2017. PubMed ID: 28295012 Image collected and cropped by CiteAb from the following publication, (http://www.nature.com/articles/srep44275), provided under a CC-BY license. Enhanced Validation-Orthogonal RNAseq Confirmation Immunohistochemistry analysis in human cerebral cortex and skeletal muscle tissues using HPA019182 antibody. Corresponding TBL1XR1 RNA-seq data are presented for the same tissues.
ChIP-Exo-Seq composite graph for Anti-TBL1XR1 (HPA019182, Lot A117633) tested in K562 cells. Strand-specific reads (blue: forward, red: reverse) and IgG controls (black: forward, grey: reverse) are plotted against the distance from a composite set of reference binding sites. The antibody exhibits robust target enrichment compared to a non-specific IgG control and precisely reveals its structural organization around the binding site. Data generated by Prof. B. F. Pugh´s Lab at Cornell University. *Please note not all antibody batches are validated for use in ChIP applications.
Immunohistochemistry Immunohistochemical staining of human cerebral cortex shows moderate to strong nuclear positivity in neurons.
Immunohistochemistry Immunohistochemical staining of human prostate shows moderate to strong nuclear positivity in glandular cells.
Immunohistochemistry Immunohistochemical staining of human testis shows moderate to strong nuclear positivity in cells in seminiferous ducts.
Immunohistochemistry Immunohistochemical staining of human skeletal muscle shows weak to moderate nuclear positivity in myocytes.
Immunofluorescence Immunofluorescent staining of human cell line U-2 OS shows localization to nucleoplasm.

Application: All Prestige Antibodies Powered by Atlas Antibodies are developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project  and as a result, are supported by the most extensive characterization in the industry.

The Human Protein Atlas project can be subdivided into three efforts: Human Tissue Atlas, Cancer Atlas, and Human Cell Atlas. The antibodies that have been generated in support of the Tissue and Cancer Atlas projects have been tested by immunohistochemistry against hundreds of normal and disease tissues and through the recent efforts of the Human Cell Atlas project, many have been characterized by immunofluorescence to map the human proteome not only at the tissue level but now at the subcellular level. These images and the collection of this vast data set can be viewed on the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) site by clicking on the Image Gallery link. We also provide Prestige Antibodies® protocols   and other useful information.
Biochem/physiol Actions: TBL1XR1 (transducin β-like 1X-related protein 1) regulates the change from gene repression to activation of nuclear receptors and proteins involved in transcriptional activation. It also functions as an E3-ligase. TBL1XR1 haploinsufficiency results in intellectual disability, without autistic behavior. Mutations in TBL1XR1 are linked with autism spectrum disorders. TBL1XR1 is involved in progression of breast cancer cells by transactivation of cyclin D1 and activation of the β-catenin signaling pathway.
Disclaimer: Unless otherwise stated in our catalog or other company documentation accompanying the product(s), our products are intended for research use only and are not to be used for any other purpose, which includes but is not limited to, unauthorized commercial uses, in vitro diagnostic uses, ex vivo or in vivo therapeutic uses or any type of consumption or application to humans or animals.
Features and Benefits: Prestige Antibodies® are highly characterized and extensively validated antibodies with the added benefit of all available characterization data for each target being accessible via the Human Protein Atlas portal linked just below the product name at the top of this page. The uniqueness and low cross-reactivity of the Prestige Antibodies® to other proteins are due to a thorough selection of antigen regions, affinity purification, and stringent selection. Prestige antigen controls are available for every corresponding Prestige Antibody and can be found in the linkage section.

Every Prestige Antibody is tested in the following ways:
• IHC tissue array of 44 normal human tissues and 20 of the most common cancer type tissues.
• Protein array of 364 human recombinant protein fragments.
General description: The gene TBL1XR1 (transducin β-like 1X-related protein 1) is mapped to human chromosome 3q26.32. The protein contains four WD40 (β-transducin) repeats. TBL1XR1 is also referred as TBLR1 (TBL1-related protein 1).
Immunogen: F-box-like/WD repeat-containing protein TBL1XR1 recombinant protein epitope signature tag (PrEST)
