| Biochem/physiol Actions: | Integrin a FG-GAP repeat containing 1 (ITFG1) is a novel regulatory protein, also known as type 2A-interacting protein (TIP), ubiquitously expressed in tissues. It interacts with PP2A and the PP2A-like enzymes PP4 and PP6. During regulation of DNA replication and repair, ITFG1 inhibits PP2A by forming a TIP.PP2A complex in the ATM/ATR signaling pathway. |
