| Biochem/physiol Actions: | Upregulator of cell proliferation (URGCP) is associated with the onset of oncogenesis and cell cycle regulation. Its overexpression has been observed in the hepatitis B-infected liver, gastric cancer cells. It also alters cyclin D1 expression in cell proliferation stage. It has been reported that URGCP may be used as a therapeutic target for the treatment of cervical cancer. |
