| Biochem/physiol Actions: | PPM1L (Protein phosphatase, Mg2+/Mn2+ dependent 1L) is involved in the H2O2-induced regulation of ASK1 signaling. It suppresses gene expression of SAPK (stress-activated protein kinase) by associating with and dephosphorylating MAP3K7/TAK1 and MAP3K5. It is also associated with the regulation of the TGF-β and BMP (Bone Morphogenetic Protein) signaling pathways. |
