Alternative splicing in kynurenine formamidase gene modulates tumor suppressor p53 role in hepatocellular carcinoma development and progression. Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase-mediated kynurenine formation could play a role in cataract formation related to chronic inflammation. |
