| Biochem/physiol Actions: | AKT serine/threonine kinase 3 (AKT3) has a role in DNA repair and brain development. In mouse model, it modulates the expression of estrogen receptor α, Erb-B2 receptor tyrosine kinase 2 and Erb-B2 receptor tyrosine kinase 3 in breast cancer cells. AKT3 has been shown to stimulate the growth of triple-negative breast cancer. |
