| Biochem/physiol Actions: | KIF9 (kinesin family member 9) participates in Gem-mediated mitotic activities. It controls spindle dynamics and absence of KIF9 causes spindle abnormalities. KIF9 protein also interacts with flotillin-2 and this interaction is required for podosomal matrix degradation in primary human macrophages. |
