Biochem/physiol Actions: | DEP domain containing 5 (DEPDC5) acts as a negative regulator of mammalian target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). It is a part of the GTPase-activating protein activity. Mutations in the DEPDC gene that lead to autosomal dominant familial focal epilepsy with variable foci (FFEVF), familial temporal lobe epilepsy, and autosomal dominant nocturnal frontal lobe epilepsy. |
