| General description: | Nucleosides comprise the natural nucleobases, namely, cytosine (C), thymine (T), uracil (U), adenine (A), and guanine (G) with the sugar ring. DNA and RNA have 2′-deoxyribose and ribose respectively. Nucleotides have nucleoside and a minimum of one phosphate group. They are constituents of nucleic acids and are regarded as building blocks for the synthesis and in nanomaterials assembly as well. |
