General description: Immunoglobulins (Ig) are produced by the B cells and play crucial role in host humoral immune response. A typical immunoglobulin consists of two heavy chains and two light chains. The two light chains are either κ or the λ chain. The B cells express one type of light chain during their life time.
General description: Lambda (λ) light chain comprises an amino-terminal variable region and carboxy-terminal constant region. λ chain is biologically critical and constitutes up to 30 to 40% of human immunoglobulin (Ig) molecules. The human λ locus is mapped to the chromosome location 22.
Physical form: Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide as preservative

New Tariffs & Effects on Pricing

Tariff note: As we navigate the current environment of tariff surcharges and mid-year manufacturer price increases, we want to keep you informed. While we have avoided making specific decisions thus far, we anticipate that we will be forced to implement a cost adjustment policy to offset the fees we have already been absorbing. We are committed to transparency and moderation in this process.
