  • Development of self-microemulsifying drug delivery system for oral bioavailability enhancement of berberine hydrochloride.: This study explores the formulation of a self-microemulsifying drug delivery system (SMEDDS) using ethyl linoleate as a key component to improve the oral bioavailability of berberine hydrochloride. The findings indicate a significant increase in bioavailability, demonstrating the potential of SMEDDS in enhancing the absorption of poorly water-soluble drugs (Zhu et al., 2013 ).

  • Metabonomic investigation of liver profiles of nonpolar metabolites obtained from alcohol-dosed rats and mice using high mass accuracy MSn analysis.: The research includes the use of ethyl linoleate in the study of liver metabolomics to understand the biochemical effects of alcohol dosing.
