| Biochem/physiol Actions: | β-Lactamases exhibit high carbapenemase activity. β-lactamases can destroy the β-lactam ring. True carbapenemases has the ability to hydrolyse several β-lactam ring containing carbapenems like meropenem, doripenem, imipenem and ertapenem. |
