| Application: | Methylene Blue hydrate is suitable for use as a nucleic acid stain for agarose and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE). It was used to stain 4T1 tumor cells to study metastasis of tumor cells using clonogenic assay. Methylene blue hydrate crystals were encapsulated in apoferritin nanocages for photodynamic therapy against tumor cells. |
