| Biochem/physiol Actions: | Reacts with reduced and non-reduced MMP-18. Recognizes pro-form and most active forms of MMP-18. When used against the reduced protein, the antibody identifies bands at 53 kDa and 51 kDa (pro-form) as well as the smaller activated forms. The hemopexin domain is cleaved form the smallest active form of MMP-18 and the antibody does not detect this form. |
