Application: A partial hydrolysis of maltoheptaose has been used to prepare a dextran ladder in a study that assessed cationic labeling of oligosaccharides. The sensitivity of O-2-[aminoethyl]fluorescein was evaluated using maltoheptaose in a study that investigated the development of a novel fluorescent tag for the electrophoretic separation of oligosaccharides.
