• to perform alkaline phosphatase reaction
Biochem/physiol Actions: Naphthol AS-BI (7-Bromo-3-hydroxy-2-naphtho-o-anisidine) can be used as a substrate to determine alkaline and acid phosphatase. It is also used to determine the activity of acid phosphatase in single cells.
