Nicotinate mononucleotide is a substrate for NMN/NaMN adenylyltransferase (NMNAT) and nicotinate mononucleotide adenylyltransferase. NaMN amidation results in the synthesis of nicotinamide mononucleotide(NMN), which is further converted to NAD cofactor. |
