| General description: | The GenElute HP Endotoxin-Free Plasmid Megaprep Kit offers a simple, rapid, and cost effective method for isolating endotoxin-free plasmid DNA from recombinant E. coli cultures. Up to 5 mg of high copy plasmid DNA with ≤ 0.1 endotoxin units/μg can be recovered from 200 mL - 1.0 L LB medium or 200 - 600 mL TB medium of E. coli culture in less than 1.5 hours. Note that the actual yield depends on the strain, the plasmid, and the culture medium used. High-quality, endotoxin-free DNA is ready for immediate use in downstream applications such as restriction digest, ligation, sequencing, PCR, transformation, and transfection, including endotoxin-sensitive cells. |
| General description: | We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This product has Inherently Safer Chemistry, compared to the standard use of phenol and chloroform to perform DNA extractions. |
