Biochem/physiol Actions:	Pseudomonas exotoxin A functions as an anticancer agent. It catalyses the transfer of ADP-ribose moiety of NAD⁺ to the histidine imidazole ring of diphthamide. Shown to be toxic to animals and to cell lines, and to inhibit protein synthesis via ADP ribosylation of elongation factor 2.
