Analysis Note:	Tested on cell extracts from animal tissues such as bovine liver, human placenta, and rabbit muscle, as well as on extracts from A431 and Jurkat cell lines.
Application:	Phosphatase Inhibitor Cocktail 1 has been used in nuclear protein isolation and electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA) for catenin activation. It has also been used in western blot analysis.
Biochem/physiol Actions:	Phosphatases are active regulators of a number of important biological processes. Inhibition of phosphatases by small molecules is useful to study its biological role.
General description:	Phosphatase Inhibitor Cocktail 1 includes a mixture of inhibitors that will inhibit the L-isozymes of alkaline phosphatase as well as serine/threonine protein phosphatases such as PP1 and PP2A. This product contains microcystinLR, cantharidin, and (−)-p-bromotetramisole. Phosphatase Inhibitor Cocktail 1 has been replaced with P0044.
Preparation Note:	Recommended usage is a 100-fold dilution.
