| Biochem/physiol Actions: | Monoclonal Anti-p115/TAP recognizes rat p115/TAP (approx. 95-100 kDa). |
| Biochem/physiol Actions: | p115/TAP1 (transcytosis associated protein) plays an important role in endoplasmic reticulum to Golgi traffic and in intra−Golgi traffic. It is known to play a key role in the transport of endoplasmic reticulum (ER)/Golgi. p115 is highly essential for the docking or tethering step in intra-Golgi vesicular transport and transcytosis. It serve as a catalyst during the fusion mediated by soluble N-ethylmaleimide-sensitiv |

| General description: | Monoclonal Anti-p115/TAP (mouse IgG1 isotype) is derived from the 5D6 hybridoma produced by the fusion of mouse myeloma cells and splenocytes from mice. p115, a Golgin family tether is also referred as TAP1 (transcytosis associated protein). It is homologous to USO1 vesicle transport factor (Uso1p). It has a coiled coil dimerization domain, an N-terminal globular domain and a C-terminal acidic domain. |
| Immunogen: | purified rat p115/TAP. |
| Physical form: | Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, and 15 mM sodium azide. |
| Preparation Note: | For continuous use, store at 2-8 °C for up to one month. For prolonged storage, freeze in working aliquots at −20 °C. Repeated freezing and thawing is not recom-mended. Storage in frost-free freezers is also notrecommended. If slight turbidity occurs upon prolongedstorage, clarify the solution by centrifugation beforeuse. Working dilutions should be discarded if not usedwithin 12 hours. |
