General description:	Phosphatidylserine is an anionic phospholipid, which is found on the plasma membrane. Exposure of phosphatidylserine on the surface of plasma membrane stimulates the removal of apoptotic and red blood cells. It regulates the production of thrombin and maintains hemostasis.
