Samples: Whole cell lysate from HeLa (5, 15 and 50 μg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) and 293T (Lane T; 50 μg) cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified Rabbit Anti-Ku80 Antibody PLA0264 used for WB at 0.04 μg/mL (A) and 0.4 μg/mL (B) and used for IP at 3 μg/mg lysate. Ku80 was also immunoprecipitated by a Rabbit Anti-Ku80 Antibody which recognizes an upstream epitope. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 3 minutes (A) and 30 seconds (B).

| Other Notes: | Ku80 is the 80 kDa subunit of the lupus Ku autoantigen. The lupus Ku autoantigen was identified in individuals with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and related disorders. The Ku antigen is a heterodimer of Ku70 and Ku80. The Ku70/Ku80 complex functions as a single-stranded DNA-dependent ATP-dependent helicase.
