| General description: | The GlycoProfile™ IV Kit utilizes trifluoromethane sulfonic acid (TFMS) in a deglycosylation system that completely removes all N- and O-linked glycans while safeguarding the protein or polypeptide structure. TFMS hydrolysis of glycoproteins results in minimal protein degradation while the released glycans are eliminated. The conditions are optimized to deglycosylate simple or low molecular weight glycoproteins in 30 mins without the scavenger. For high molecular weight or complex, non-mammalian glycoproteins, anhydrous anisole is provided as a scavenger to give a high protein yield. |
