Application: RepSox has been used as an inhibitor of autophosphorylation of the transforming growth factor β type I receptor kinase (ALK5). It has also been used as a basal media component for culturing human Pluripotent stem cells.
Biochem/physiol Actions: RepSox inhibits osteoclast differentiation, resorption in bone tissues and ovariectomy (OVX)‐induced osteoporosis (OP) through repression of the SMAD family member 3 (Smad3) and c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) pathway/ activator protein 1 (AP-1) pathways.
