General description: Ribonucleic Acid (RNA) from baker’s yeast (S. cerevisiae) is the substrate for RNase enzyme. The isolation of RNA from yeast is a complicated process and involves heating and freezing cycles of cells in the presence of phenyl and detergents (SDS).
